Miss
Molly's Story
Pictured
to the right is Molly, a 7-year old Shitzu who was rescued
by Little Angels.
Little Angels recently received a call from Sarasota Humane
Society asking if we could take take her into our rescue program.
Sadly, her owners left her at the shelter because she needed
surgery for bladder stones.
Little Angels agreed rescue Miss Molly. Quickly dedicated
volunteers pick her up and arrange a date for her required
surgery.
Little Angel volunteers then went to work to raise the monies
needed for Miss Molly's surgery. We would like to express
our deep gratitude to all those who donated funds. Because
of you prayers and financial assistance, Miss Molly came thru
her health crisis. With only partial funding and a financial
break from a wonderful veterinarian, her surgery was made
possible. Molly is now living with her foster mom, who nursed
her thru the aftermath of her surgery and emotional loss.
Little
Angels is always in need of financial donations, sponsors
and wish list contributions.
You may also send us
gift certificates or support us by donating
your time. It is only because of your help that little
dogs like Miss Molly get a second chance at life.

Baby
the English Bulldog Needs All of Our Help
Baby is simply a wonderful English Bulldog who came into
our lives when her owner became too ill to take care of her.
Little Angels Rescue was told she had skin allergies which
could easily controlled with medication. But much to our surprise
Baby has turned out to need much more. For instance, Baby
could not walk because the pad of her little feet are so raw
with infection.
According to our vet, Baby has a systemic infection caused
by an unattended infection deep in her ears. She also have
both a staph and yeast in her feet and as well a dry eye (the
right). Baby must have surgery to correct her ear infections
due to scar tissue closing the opening to both ears. The vet
believes Baby would have died from this systemic infection
if left untreated for just few days longer. The good news
is the vet can help Baby and wants to see Baby back in two
weeks to monitor her condition. If the pads of her little
feet have not improved, he may have to wrap all of them.
Baby
is a special needs girl. She needs not only our help and compassion
but also financial donations. Thanks for her foster mom, Sherri,
Baby has wonderful foster home to enjoy while she heals. Little
Angels Rescue could your help in meeting some her medical
expenses and in perhaps a loving forever home.
If Baby's story touches you please consider donating any
sum of monies to Little Angels Rescue via Paypal
or by sending a check directly. Please send tax-deductible
donations (Solicitation #CH13087) to the following address:

Hi
I am Baby, and English Bulldog. My foster Mom says I'm
just a big hug-a-bear. I love to just lay around and
cuddle all the time. I do have trouble with my skin
so I need lots of attention to keep me from getting
the itchies. I need to be treated like a princess. No
sunbathing for me! If you are an indoor type, I am your
gal. The fast life is not my speed. Do you have room
on the couch for me?
I get along with other dogs but I would rather be around
my parents. I don't mind kitty cats sharing my home
with me either. I would make a great new member to anybody's
home -- just don't make me exercise too much!
You can contact my foster Mommy, Sherri,
if you want to ask questions about me. And please be
sure to fill out the LAR adoption
application. I look forward to meeting you! |
